The action thriller Salute was directed by Rosshan Andrews, and the movie was funded by Dulquer Salmaan himself through his film studio Wayfarer Films. Manoj K. Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saikumar, and Ganapathi S Poduval feature as the female protagonist, with Manoj K. Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saikumar, and Ganapathi S Poduval in supporting parts. The project's cinematographer is Aslam K. Puraiyil, while Jakes Bejoy composed the film's background music.
Dulquer Salman recently shared the first look from his next film, Hey Sinamika, directed by Master Brinda. Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari will play the female roles in the romantic comedy.
