Now, as we prepare to ring in the New Year in 2022, Samantha turned to Instagram to post a photo of her furry buddy along with a long heartfelt statement.
Samantha's beloved dog is shown enjoying a good snooze on her bed and looks adorable. "If your biggest success this year was simply getting this far, merely waking up in the morning when you didn't want to face the day, simply surviving - that is something to celebrate, too," she wrote beside the photo. In terms of her forthcoming projects, Samantha has already completed the filming of her upcoming flick Shaakuntalam. The release date is anticipated to be announced soon by the producers. The actress plays the title character in the film, which is directed by Gunasekhar. Samantha will also star in Arrangements of Love, directed by Philip John. It's worth noting that the film is based on an Indian novel by Timeri N Murari. Samantha will also appear in Vignesh Shivan's next film. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will play major parts in the film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. It is expected to be released in theatres in February 2022.
