From August 1 onwards, all things will be sold at the same rate throughout the country. On Friday, Maharashtra Minister of State for Food and Supplies Ravindra Chavan announced this in the Legislative Council. He said that the central government has decided to implement this law from August 1. Along with this, prices of goods will also be uniform in multiplex theatres.

Ravindra Chavan was answering the question of the food items sold at multipacks in different cities of the state at the Legislative Council. He said that people who are fond of watching the film are no longer allowed to take food from outside. If there is any restriction on this, action will be taken against him.

The Home Department will prepare a policy related to it in six weeks. He said that in future, the printed price of an item (MRP) in the country will not be different. The Center's law will apply in this regard from August 1, after the implementation of this law, the sale of food will not be available at malls-multiplex at different rates.

The leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Dhananjay Munde had raised the issue of selling at food prices more than the printed price of food items in multipacks and food malls. Responding to this, Minister of State Chavan said that the government is going to make changes in policies soon.
