Samsung India has given security certificates to its exclusive stores in view of the risk of infection. Samsung said in a statement that all its exclusive stores have been certified safety-wise to ensure consumer safety. These stores will strictly follow the criteria such as social distance. A distance of 1.5 meters between customers in Samsung stores will be mandatory to follow the guidelines of social distancing stated by the government. Apart from this, the employees of the store have also been given special training for hygiene and safety.
Samsung claims that it has sanitized all its exclusive stores well before opening. Hand sanitizers are provided at all stores. Consumers at stores are being encouraged to use contactless payments. Even the swipe machine has been sanitized. Also, a limited number of customers will be admitted to the store at one time.
In the last month, only two Samsung smartphones have become cheap, including the Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A50S. The price of Samsung Galaxy A50S has been reduced by Rs 2,471 while the Galaxy M21 has become cheaper by Rs 1,023. After this cut, the Galaxy M21's 4 GB RAM variant was priced at Rs 13,199, while the Galaxy A50S can now be purchased at an initial price of Rs 18,599. The new prices will also be applicable to Amazon apart from Samsung's site.
