The Korean company Samsung is preparing to launch cheap variants of Galaxy Fold. A report has come out about this smartphone, in which it has been claimed that the company will introduce cheap variants of Galaxy Fold in the market as Galaxy Fold Lite. However, the company has not shared official information about the cheaper variants of Galaxy Fold. The company launched the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone in the global market last year.

256 GB storage will be available in cheap variants of Galaxy Fold
According to the report by XDA Developers, the cheaper variant of Galaxy Fold is the codename Winner 2. This smartphone can support Snapdragon 865 processor with 256 GB of storage. Apart from this, users are expected to get 8 GB RAM and 12 GB RAM in this smartphone.

The plastic-covered screen will be available in cheap variants of Galaxy Fold
The report further states that users will not get an ultra-thin glass flexible screen in this smartphone. This means that the company can offer plastic-covered screens on it. Also, a small screen can also be found in the outer of the phone.

The expected price of cheap variants of Galaxy fold
According to the report, the price of the Galaxy Fold Lite smartphone will be $ 1099 (about Rs 82,500). Earlier, the Galaxy Fold smartphone was launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1,73,999.

The company has given a 7.3-inch AMOLED display in this phone, whose resolution is 1536x2152 pixels. After folding, the screen size of this phone becomes 4.6 inches, which has a resolution of 840x1960 pixels. For better performance, 512 GB internal storage is provided with 12 GB RAM. Also, this phone has got the support of Android 9 Pie operating system and Octa-core SoC.
