Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court of India has said that the corona epidemic has given a strong foundation to the technical structure of the Indian judiciary. Since the epidemic, the infrastructure for video conferencing has been prepared in the Supreme Court, High Court and more than 17,000 courts of the country. This shows what we have been able to achieve. Justice Chandrachud is also the chairman of the e-committee of the Supreme Court. He said that the question is not whether we are adopting technology, but the question is how well we will adopt technology.

Through a webinar on Wednesday, Justice Chandrachud inaugurated the second phase of the Virtual Court Project in Delhi. The Virtual Court 2.0 project has been created by the e-committee of the Supreme Court, the IT teams of the Delhi High Court, the district courts and the traffic police of Delhi.

He told that online payment of challan of 95 thousand rupees has been made within 15 minutes of starting the virtual court.
