Samsung is on the verge of launching its latest Galaxy device, the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition (FE). After a year filled with major Galaxy releases, leaks about the S24 FE have been circulating, revealing potential specifications and an October release date. The device’s imminent launch has been further confirmed with its appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, indicating that it will soon be available in India and other global markets.

Key Details of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

The S24 FE recently appeared on the BIS website under the model number SM-S721B/DS, which aligns with earlier sightings on a support page. This certification suggests that the phone is close to being officially unveiled.

Specifications and Features

  • Display: The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1900 nits.
  • Processor: It is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2400e processor, paired with the Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU, ensuring smooth performance for graphic-intensive applications.
  • Battery: The device will likely come with a 4,565 mAh battery, offering up to 29 hours of video playback and 78 hours of audio playback.
  • Operating System: The S24 FE is anticipated to run on One UI 6.1.1, based on Android 14, potentially introducing various AI features.
  • Cameras: The smartphone may be equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, a 10MP front camera is expected.
  • Colors: The S24 FE might be available in five colors: green, yellow, graphite, blue, and silver/white.

While the exact pricing has not been confirmed, the inclusion of a larger display and a new processor suggests that the S24 FE might be priced higher than the previous S23 FE, which was available at $599.
