Samsung India has partnered with social media and technology firm Facebook, under which offline retailers will be digitized. It is the first and largest campaign of its kind in the country. Under this, thousands of offline partners of Samsung will be trained in digital marketing. They will be told how to reach a large number of customers. This training will help consumers to get product information and buy them Galaxy smartphones from the social media pages of their local retailers.

In the first phase, Samsung and Facebook have trained more than 800 offline retailers and more training sessions will be held in the coming weeks. The main focus of the training is on helping offline retailers establish digital access through Facebook's apps, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. Through Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp of local Samsung retail, users will get information about the Galaxy smartphone from their local retailer and will be able to buy the phone.

On this partnership, Mandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Samsung India Mobile Business, said, “Every work at Samsung is focused on consumers. In the last two months, our focus has been on customizing our business model to the changing needs of our consumers. ”He further added that we have taken several steps to ensure social distancing for doorstep delivery of our products and services. Our partnership with Facebook is helping a large number of our retail partners go digital. Our retail partners will be able to reach their local consumers digitally using Facebook training.
