Samsung is loosing customers to Apple after Galaxy Note 7 affair

It's being a hard time for the Samsung because of the Galaxy Note 7 tragedy. Now Samsung has announced Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users to get their devices replaced. They are asked to visit the near customer support office and just get the things done. In return of the devices, users are getting return cash, Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge or some other offers for the coming year.

A survey conducted by IDC shows the choices opted by the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users after getting their devices replaced. It is cleared by the survey that almost half of the customers has already shifted to the apple iPhone or at least thinking for the change. However, 13 percent of the users doesn't even know about the company replacement offer.

Market research firm IDC surveyed 1,082 US consumers through an online survey soon after Samsung killed the Galaxy Note 7. The survey had around 24 Galaxy Note 7 users, and half of these users claimed that they would return or have already returned their phones for cash, and will buy/or have already bought an Apple iPhone unit instead.

However, 17 percent of these users said that they would opt for another Samsung device. These figures are not monumental, and what 24 users think cannot really account for the general sentiment of the lakhs of Note 7 buyers. However, it does point to how Samsung may lose few loyalists because of this controversy.
