Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy S24 series soon, with the launch event scheduled for January 17th. Prior to the launch event, the company has reduced the prices of its Galaxy S23 series, which was introduced last year. The new prices for both the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are now visible on Samsung's online store, and they can also be purchased at the reduced rates on Flipkart and Amazon.

The pricing adjustments for the Galaxy S23 series are as follows:
Samsung has lowered the price of the Samsung Galaxy S23 from Rs 74,999 to Rs 64,999. This price is for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Additionally, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is now priced at Rs 69,999, down from its original launch price of Rs 79,999 in February last year.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S23+, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is now listed at Rs 84,999, reduced from its original launch price of Rs 94,999. The 8GB RAM + 512GB storage variant has also seen a price cut, now available at Rs 94,999, down from Rs 1,04,999.

Specifications for the Galaxy S23 series include a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for the Galaxy S23 and a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for the Galaxy S23+. Both phones are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and come with 8GB of RAM. The smartphones feature a triple rear camera setup, with the main lens being 50MP. Additionally, they include a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 12MP selfie camera.

In terms of battery capacity, the Galaxy S23 is powered by a 3900mAh battery, while the Galaxy S23+ comes with a larger 4700mAh battery.
