Manjrekar made this tweet after the second ODI played between India and New Zealand. In this match, he had questioned the 'Man of the Match' award to KL Rahul. Sanjay Manjrekar, who played 37 Tests and 74 ODIs, wrote in a tweet that, 'Man of the match award should have been given to a bowler.' On this Ravindra Jadeja said that he should clearly state who should have received this award. Jadeja wrote, 'What is the name of that bowler? Please tell his name.

Sanjay Manjrekar also answered Ravindra Jadeja's question. However, the name of anyone player was not mentioned. Manjrekar said, 'Ha ha .. either you or Bumrah. Jasprit Bumrah bowled in the 3rd, 10th, 18th and 20 overs. Still he gave very few runs.
