Mumbai: We have all heard or read stories from Chhatrapati Shivaji to Peshwa Bajirao. Panipat film director Ashutosh Gowariker has portrayed the story of another Maratha war, Sadashiv Rao Bhau, on screen. The story of the film is about the third war between the Marathas and the Afghans, in which Sadashiv Rao Bhau fought with Ahmed Shah Abdali, one of the Afghan kings of the time.
This war was so dangerous that Abdali also praised the bravery and tenacity of the Maratha warriors. In the film, Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Sadashiv. Arjun fits in his role. In the film, Arjun Kapoor is seen romancing Kriti Sanon. Kriti Sanon plays the role of Sadashiv's wife Parvati in the film. She has loved Sadashiva since childhood. Her look, style and acting are worthy of praise.
The film's direction is also fantastic. You will see Ashutosh's direction in every frame of this film. Sets have also been used brilliantly in the film. From the film's story to the actors' work, the cinematography action and even the emotional sequences and romance are all fantastic. The film is a bit slow in the first half, but the film picks up in the second half. All your money is recovered. This film has got 3 stars out of 5.
