‘Sanju’ apart from gathering appraisal and crores of box office collection is collecting several criticisms also that the movie is a great attempt to whitewash the image of a culprit and person who is not worthy of it. But Sanju revealed some unknown facts that were barely known to any common man and on the other hand creating a wrong image for Sanjay Dutt.
The scene where Ranbir Kapoor can be seen saying that he dated around 308 girlfriends for which Baba himself said that “I just felt that the count must be 308. Now, I don't know their names and I don't know their... I haven't kept count that way. Even in the film, it's like that. He says, 'Maybe itna hoga.' It was quite a big score’.”
Many of the critics presented the views that Ranbir portrayed the man alike whom he counting his girlfriends. But the actor claimed that “I have had less than 10 girlfriends” while adding “I like love stories. I am more on the romantic side, not tharki.”
But the name that brought him the success that is Sanjay Dutt claimed something contrary and betted that “I bet his count must be more than 10,” He was in an interview with Indian Today where he also appreciated talent with words like: “Ranbir was much better than the real Sanju. He does really come across so well that I couldn't find any flaws.”
