After being thrown out for anti-Congress activities in the Congress party, Sanjay Jha has made a big statement. After going out of Congress, Jha has retorted and said that my loyalty is not to any individual or family but my loyalty is to the Congress party. Sanjay Jha, who has criticized the functioning of the Congress over handling the issue of rebel leader of Congress Party Sachin Pilot, said that he became a Gandhi-Nehruvian idealist in the Congress Party which is now a vanished breed within the Congress Party.

Businessman-turned-politician Sanjay Jha also said that for the revival of his Congress party, he continued to raise issues that are fundamental and also said that the fight has just started. The statement said that he was being expelled from the party with immediate effect for his involvement in anti-party activities and for violation of discipline.

Jha told in a tweet on Wednesday, "My loyalty is to Congress ideology. My allegiance is not to any person or family. I remained a Gandhi-Nehruvian idealist (an extinct one), an endangered race within the Congress. I will continue to raise issues that are fundamental to the revival of my party. The battle has just begun." Reacting to his expulsion, Jha has given a surprise response on Tuesday. He has been relieved of the post of All India Congress Committee spokesperson. Sanjay Jha wrote a critical article about the party in a newspaper last month. He has also been a critic of Congress' activities in the case related to rebel party leader Sachin Pilot.
