New Delhi: The Modi cabinet has expanded. In Uttar Pradesh, 7 new ministers have been appointed in view of next year's assembly elections. Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (s) has also been given the post of minister, but Nishad Party did not get anything in its hands. This is said to have angered the Nishad Party.

Nishad Party (Weak Indian Exploited Our Aam Dal) founder Sanjay Nishad has expressed disappointment over his son and MP Praveen Nishad not being inducted into the Union Cabinet. He asked if Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) could be inducted into the Modi cabinet, so why not Praveen Nishad? Sanjay Nishad further said, 'If Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) can get a cabinet berth, why not MP Praveen Nishad? The Nishad community is already leaving the BJP and if the party does not correct its mistakes, the results will have to be borne in the upcoming assembly elections.'

Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad said, 'It is their turn to decide, although I am confident that he will take care of Praveen Nishad.' Sanjay Nishad's son Praveen is an MP from Sant Kabir Nagar. Praveen Nishad had won the Gorakhpur by-election held in 2017 as an SP candidate.
