The Shiv Sena has demanded action against those who advocate for the release of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that if Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah and a party want to reissue Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir with the help of China, then the Center should act on them. The Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that four BJP workers had gone to hoist the tricolour at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, the police caught them and took them to the police station. If anyone tries to hoist the tricolour in Lal Chowk, Srinagar or Kashmir, I consider it an act of sedition to stop it.

On the Uniform Civil Code question, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that we have also said earlier that the Uniform Civil Code should be implemented in India. If the government does something like this, we will take a decision on this. In a discussion with the media, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah had said that China can assist him in releasing section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir again.

He also said that China can help, but I never talked to the President of China. It was our PM who takes him to Gujarat. Fed him a lot. Opposing the removal of Article 370, the former CM Farooq Abdullah said, "The people who stand with this decision of PM government are traitors. We do not accept the removal of 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. We have been opposing it and will not stop doing it."
