Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's reaction has come to light in the disputed remarks against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Talking to a private news channel, Sanjay Raut said that the controversy is being raised without any reason. At the behest of the Center, deliberate attempts are being made to malign Maharashtra. There are many instances where central agencies have been misused.

The Shiv Sena leader said that "I never threatened Kangana Ranaut. The IT cell and some people deliberately gave it a different twist. Tell me one such statement in which I have threatened her? I only said that if there is a problem in Mumbai, you should not come. I know the reason behind Kangana's challenge. It is clear that there is a non-BJP government in Maharashtra, that's why all these things are happening". Sanjay Raut said that this is a deliberate attempt to discredit the Mumbai Police. Mumbai Police has eliminated underworld from Bollywood.

Sanjay Raut said that "Bollywood is safe due to Mumbai Police. Kangana has tried to tarnish the image of Mumbai. Distrusting Mumbai Police is wrong". On the statement 'Haram****', Sanjay Raut said that "It was taken in a wrong way. In Marathi, it means 'Baiman' or 'Naughty'. We say the same in normal conversation. I have no personal enmity with Kangana. She spoke against Maharashtra, so it hurts not only me but the people of Maharashtra".
