New Delhi: Debate continues between the leaders of BJP and Shiv Sena, who have been together for a long time. Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said on Tuesday that his party will come forward with the sword of Hindutva whenever the country needs it. He also said that he and his party were always Hindutva and will remain so.
Sanjay Raut said, "We do not need to get a certificate of Hindutva from any party. We were, and always will be, Hindutva. We do not practice Hindutva like him. Whenever the country needs us, the Shiv Sena will always come forward waving the sword of Hindutva. "This is not the first time Raut has attacked the BJP on Hindutva.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) termed the move a victory for Hindutva after the Maharashtra government announced the reopening of religious places from 16 November. Raut on Sunday said, "It is not a victory or defeat of anyone."
