New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh today tore the legal notice received by Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena in connection with allegations of corruption in a press conference. During this, Sanjay Singh made serious allegations against LG. AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that The LG of Delhi is the number one corrupt. He did a huge scam when he was the chairman of KVIC. During this, Sanjay Singh also targeted PM Narendra Modi.

He said that today I am going to disclose a very big and serious matter. This case is against the LG Vinay Saxena of Delhi. He has committed a huge scam while being the chairman of KVIC. Lakhs of artisans work in the Khadi industry, the number of which is 4 lakh 55 thousand, there has been a big scam in this. Artisans are not getting payment through checks and banks. Whereas the Patna High Court said that no payment to the artisans should be made in cash.

Sanjay Singh further said, "A letter from KVIC in the year 2017 clearly shows that payments have been made through cash. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, a member of Khadi Village Industries, had also said that the rules of Khadi Village Industries are being violated. The check got damaged due to the fall of the tea. Rajendra Pratap Gupta had also objected to the guest house being bought at a cost of Rs 23 crore.''

Everything was fine in Delhi, as long as the new liquor policy was going on. But, when Lt Governor Saxena noticed something wrong with the Kejriwal government's new liquor policy, he recommended a CBI probe into it. However, before the investigation could begin, the Kejriwal government immediately made a U-turn and announced the withdrawal of the new liquor policy and re-implementing the old policy. But after the LG's order, the CBI raided deputy CM Manish Sisodia's house and Sisodia's name came up as the main accused in the investigation agency's FIR. This led to the AAP in panic, after which the game of surrounding LG Vinai Kumar Saxena, who ordered an investigation into the liquor scam, started. AAP leaders who were silent on the liquor scam till now started accusing the Lieutenant Governor of corruption one after the other. It was only after this that LG Vinai Saxena sent a legal notice to AAP leaders for making baseless allegations, which Sanjay Singh tore.
