There are 38 vacancies for Arts and Culture Officer in the Arts, Culture and Youth Department of the state government in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications from qualified candidates for appointment on it. Post Details:
In total 38 posts, 14 posts are reserved for unreserved, 4 posts for EWS, 4 for SC, 1 for ST, 7 for extremely backward category, 1 for backward category, 5 post for backward category women.

Educational Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline and Post Graduate / Post Graduate Diploma in Drama, Postgraduate equivalent in Dance / Music, Master in Fine Arts in Fine Arts / Art History.

Age Range:
21 to 37 years. Backward Class / Extremely backward category will get three years maximum relaxation and SC, ST category will get five years relaxation.

Selection Process:
There will be preliminary examination, main examination, and interview. There will be 150 marks in the preliminary examination. All PT questions will be objective. The main examination will be conducted for the candidates who succeed in PT. In addition to general Hindi, there will be questions from general studies, history of art and art tradition of Bihar, art management.
