A notification has been issued by the Tarantaran District Administration of Government of Punjab for recruitment on 44 posts under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in the city. These posts include vacancies of Village Employment Assistant, computer assistant and additional programme officer. The process of applying for these posts has commenced from 9th October and can be applied by 19th October. Educational Qualification:
Gram Rozgar Sahayvi:- 12th passed and knowledge of Basic Computer. 1 year experience of related work. Punjabi as a subject at matriculation level. Age limit 18-37 years.
Computer Assistant:- BCA or B.Tech or MCA or equivalent qualification. 2 years experience of related work. Punjabi as a subject at matriculation level. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and Punjabi. Age limit 18-37 years.
Additional Programme Officer:- Graduate or Post Graduate. 2 years experience of related work. Punjabi as a subject at matriculation level. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and Punjabi. Age limit 18-37 years.
scale of pay:
Gram Rozgar Sahayst - Rs 8,500 per month
Computer Assistant - Rs 11,000 per month
Additional Programme Officer - Rs 20,000 per month
