The State Bank of India has taken out vacancies in more than 5000 posts at junior associate post of clerical cadre. Preliminary scrutiny is likely to be held in June 2021. Students with graduate degree from any subject and studying in the final year can also apply for this recruitment.  As per the notification, candidates can apply only for one state. Before applying, make sure that you have a good knowledge of the local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the region for which you are applying.

Last Date of Application: 17 May 2021

Age-limit:
The minimum age of the candidate for application should be 20 years and maximum 28 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by five years to SC, ST category and three years to OBC. 10 years for General and EWS category divyangs, 15 years for SC-ST category divyangs and 13 years for OBC category divyangs.

Training before prelims exam:
SBI also provides pre-exam training for SC, ST, minority category student before preliminary examination. It guides the students. It provides information to the students about the modalities of online tests and the pattern of questions asked in the examination etc. Candidates will be able to download their call letters from May 26, 2021.

They will not have to give a local language test:
SBI clerk recruitment test will be followed by a local language test after provisional selection. The appointment will be received when the language sits in the test. But candidates who have studied local language as a subject at 10th or 12th level will not be tested for language test. For this, they will have to show their 10th or 12th marksheets/certificates.
