The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the Post of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator for Group B Non-Gazetted posts. SSC JHT recruitment exam 2022 will be held in October. The selected candidates will be recruited from various departments including CSOLS, Railway Board, and AFHQ. According to the notice, only male candidates will be selected for the post of Junior Hindi Translator in the Border Roads Organisation. The application for SSC JHT 2022 exam has to be done by visiting the SSC portal. Application for this recruitment has started. The application for the JHT exam will be till August 4, 2022.

SSC JHT 2022: Required Educational Qualifications:-
Junior Hindi Translator-
- PG in Hindi and English subject in graduation or have given examination through this medium or
- PG in English and Hindi subject in graduation or have given examination through this medium or
PG in any subject with Hindi as the medium of examination and English in any one of the subjects or examination (language) or medium in graduation or
Two years' experience is also required.
Senior Hindi Translator-
- PG in any discipline and graduation in any Hindi subject and any one of the subjects and English and the other is the examination (language) medium, as well as, diploma or certificate relating to translation from Hindi to English or vice-versa or at least 3 years experience in a Central/State Government Department/Organization.
SSC JHT 2022: Age Limit:-
The age of the candidates for the SSC JHT 2022 exam should be between 18 to 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 1992, and not later than January 1, 2004.
SSC JHT 2022: Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme:-
The SSC JHT 2022 exam will consist of two papers - Paper-I and Paper-II. SSC JHT will be Paper-1 Objective Type and Paper-2 descriptive type.
- SSC JHT exam will be of 2 hours duration.
- SSC JHT Paper-1 will have two parts. Both parts will be number 100. Each question will be of 100 marks.
The first part of JHT Paper-1 will be of General Hindi and the second part of General English.
- JHT paper-2 will be a descriptive type. Translation and essay will have to be written in it. It will be 200 points. This paper will also be of 2 hours duration.
- There will also be negative marking in the exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
