She was a famous poetess of India and one of the best national leaders of India. She was always ahead when the Indian independence struggle took place. She was always seen with Gandhiji. Sarojini Naidu was a poet at that time. During that time she was appointed as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. During that time Uttar Pradesh was the largest province in the country in terms of expansion and population.

During that time, while accepting that position, she said, 'I feel like a jungle bird imprisoned.' At that time, she highly respected Jawaharlal Nehru Ji, which was the reason that she could not defer to his wish. She was born on February 13, 1879. Sarojini Naidu's father wanted her daughter to be a scientist but Sarojini Naidu loved poems and became a poet. At the age of 13, she wrote a long poem called 'Queen of the lake' of 1300 posts.

With this, she wrote an elaborate play of about 2000 lines, giving an example of her grip on the English language. At that time Sarojini Naidu was called the sorceress of words. Sarojini was a polyglot and gave her speeches in English, Hindi, Bengali, or Gujarati language by region. Sarojini Naidu died on March 02, 1949, in Lucknow.
