A pioneer of the Mom Blogging Community in India, she kickstarted her journey in 2017 when her son Rudraksh was six months old.
To bring a positive impact on people about parenting in India, she started her blog Diapers and Lipsticks. The blog captivated everyone's attention and Saru eventually became a popular name among the mothers in India. With her roots in Birbhum, West Bengal, the blogger was brought up in Ludhiana, Punjab. Saru holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
After her graduation, Saru married the love of her life, Sumit Sharma. The duo dated for eight years before taking their relationship to a new level. Saru after her marriage worked in a leading multinational company in Gurugram. Embracing the corporate life, little did she know that she would become a household name in the webspace. However, things changed for good when Saru became pregnant in 2016.
This saw the blogger quit her job to enjoy the phase of parenting. It was during the break from corporate life that saw Saru get familiarised with blogging. She started penning down her thoughts about motherhood which inspired many other mothers in the country. The overwhelming response that Saru got to her blogs helped her in pursuing a career as a full-time blogger. And today, Saru Mukherjee Sharma is one of the celebrated names in the blogging industry.
In various instances, she has broken the motherhood stereotypes by opening up about crucial health issues like mental health, women's health, child psychology, child care development, and mindful parenting. "Parenting has been a fruitful experience for me. While I was pregnant, an array of thoughts came to my mind. I thought to write them down and express my feelings to the world. I am glad that people resonated with my thoughts which has helped me become what I am today", revealed Saru.
The digital content creator and influencer in her remarkable career has worked with leading global brands. Some of her top-notch collaborations have been with Amazon, Myntra, Olay, Nestle, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, and L'Oréal Paris. Moreover, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the blogger voluntarily worked for UNICEF and WHO with different campaigns about parenting. Currently, Saru is busy nurturing her 5-year-old son and is simultaneously juggling her blogging profession.
The spectacular works that she has done as a mom influencer have given Saru Mukherjee Sharma much-needed recognition on the internet. Earlier, she was awarded by Social Samosa as 'Super Woman 2019' and was also awarded as the 'Best Mom Blogger' by B&B Magazine.
