Today i.e. 17th April is the death anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. On this occasion, we are going to introduce you to interesting aspects of his life. Let us tell you that on September 5, 1888, when Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was born in a Brahmin family of Tirumani, a small village in Tamil Nadu, hardly anyone would have thought that one day he will become the President of the country and the entire country will celebrate Teachers' Day in his honor. The first life of the first Vice President and second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, was spent in extreme absence. He had his primary education in Tirumani. For further education, his father got him enrolled in a Christian missionary school in Tirupati. After studying there for four years, he studied at Madras Christian College. Radhakrishnan did his MA in Philosophy in 1906. He was such a brilliant student that he continued to receive scholarship throughout his student life.

For your information, let us tell you that after completing MA, 1909 he got a job as a teacher in Madras Presidency College, where he taught philosophy to the students for seven years. In 1916, he got an assistant professor of philosophy in philosophy at Madras Residency College. In 1918, Mausoor University selected him as Professor. Radhakrishnan did not stop here, later became Professor of Indian Philosophy at Oxford University. Dr. Radhakrishnan returned to Svedesh after teaching there for a few days. He was made vice-chancellor in the university from which he had studied MA, but after a few days he moved to Benares and became vice-chancellor of Hindu University. He was married to Sivakamu in 1903.

Let us tell you that while President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was addressing the country on 26 January (Republic Day) 1967, he himself announced that he would not be the President of the country again after the term ends. Will be made. This was his last address as President. Dr. Radhakrishnan wrote many books on Indian philosophy and religion. 'Gautam Buddha: Life and Philosophy', 'Religion and Society', 'India and World' were prominent among them. He died on 17 April 1975 after a prolonged illness.
