Make-over a classic with this satay chicken jaffle, with delicious peanut butter and hoisin sauce!
Ingredients you need to make Satay chicken and sesame jaffles
20g butter, softened
4 slices white bread
2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 cup leftover cooked shredded chicken
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp grated tasty cheese
Sesame seeds, to sprinkle
Hoisin sauce, to serve
Follow these steps to successfully make Satay chicken and sesame jaffles
Step 1
Preheat jaffle maker.
Step 2
Meanwhile, spread butter over 1 side of each slice of bread. Turn bread over. Spread with peanut butter, then hoisin sauce.
Step 3
Place 1 slice of bread, buttered-side down, in each hole of jaffle maker. Top with chicken, onion and cheese. Sandwich with remaining bread slices, buttered-side up. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Close lid. Cook for 4 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted. Serve with extra sauce.
