The story of web series Satyanarayan is coming up soon but protests are intensifying in Madhya Pradesh before it arrives. Meanwhile, The Home Minister of the State, Dr. Narottam Mishra has responded to this. Recently, he said, "I have directed the Director General of Police to investigate the objectionable content of this web series. Action will be decided on the basis of investigation report."
Talking to the media recently, Narottam Mishra said, "I urge all the makers of the film and web series to stop targeting Hindu deities. I have used the word Hindu because they cannot do it about any other religion. He never wrote anything on minorities. They find soft targets to be our deities.''
You must be aware that recently MP Pragya Thakur had reacted sharply in this matter. He had asked director Sajid Nadiadwala to change the name. Shortly thereafter, Sajid Nadiadwala announced the renaming of the web series. Let me tell you that MP Pragya Singh Thakur had warned director Sajid Nadiadwala to rename the story of Satyanarayan.
He had said in a statement, "These people distort the names or stories of hindu deities. The Hindu applied and requested you, if you speak about other religions, they will not leave you alive.''
