RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has announced a change to its stance on tourist visas for citizens of other Arab nations, the US, UK, and the EU (EU). According to the regulation, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, as well as their immediate family members and domestic helpers, can now apply for an e-visa online, as per reports.

According to a statement made by the MiFID, individuals who are citizens of, or possess a tourist or business visa for, the US, the UK, or the EU will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival. According to the Ministry of Tourism, Ahmed Al-directive Khateeb's to "making it quicker and easier to visit Saudi Arabia" included the revised tourist visa policy.

Saudi Arabia has made a number of efforts in recent years to grow a range of economic sectors, including tourism, in order to diversify state income and lessen its reliance on oil exports.

While religious pilgrimages still account for the majority of tourism in Saudi Arabia, other attractions include a number of historic ruins, the Hijaz and Sarawat Mountains, and Red Sea diving.

The Saudi government is extremely strict regarding visa applications, and the travellers to complete the process accurately and genuinely. Any mistakes may cause your visa rejection or delay. A rejected visa is not something one would want in your history as this may cause a lot of problems in the future visa applications.
