New Delhi: The supply of crude oil has been affected worldwide after the drone attack on Saudi Arabian oil company Saudi Aramco. Due to which its prices have started increasing. Its effect is also seen in India. Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan spoke to Saudi Arabian Petroleum Minister Wali Ahad (Crown Prince) Abdulaziz bin Salman over the issue. In which Saudi Arabia assured that the supply of oil to India will not be affected.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia said that it is trying to bring the production at its crude oil plants to the level before the drone attack. Its daily production has come down by 5 million barrels after a major attack on Saudi Arabian crude oil plants. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Chairman Sanjeev Singh said, "He has assured that all the commitments to supply to India will be fulfilled." It is known that Saudi Arabia is the second largest oil supplier of India. Saudi sells 2 million tonnes of crude oil to India every month.

12 to 13 lakh tonnes of oil have already arrived in September. The remaining supplies are also expected to arrive soon. Singh said that although Saudi Arabia still wants to postpone some LPG supplies, it has assured that this shortfall in supply will be made up. Singh said that any shortfall in this would be compensated by Qatar. India buys two lakh tonnes of LPG every month from Saudi Arabia. Significantly, after the attack, oil prices in the country are continuously increasing.
