New Delhi: The President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly is going to leave this post soon, as there is every possibility that Roger Binny is going to take this chair. Although several reports have claimed that Ganguly wanted to continue as the chief of the board, he reportedly could not get the support he needed from other members.

There is no official statement from Ganguly on this, but Dada has made it clear that he will not be the BCCI chief, as he is about to do something else. Ganguly, popularly known as Bengal Tiger, has also said that he cannot always remain an administrator. Speaking at an event at Bandhan Bank, Sourav Ganguly said that he has been an administrator for a long time and now wants to do something else.

The former captain of Team India said in this program, 'I have been an administrator for a long time and I will move on to something else. Whatever you do in life, the best days are when you play for the country. I have been the President of BCCI and I will continue to do great things. You can't be a player forever, similarly, you can't be an administrator forever. It was great doing both.'
