Kolkata: The speculation of former cricketer and BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly's entry into the Bharatiya Janata Party is starting to happen. In fact, yesterday Sourav Ganguly suddenly went to meet West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and today he will share the stage with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Yesterday's meeting was described by Raj Bhavan as merely formal, but there is a lot of speculation about this meeting.
On the question of meeting Governor Dhankhar, Sourav Ganguly today said that why can't he meet anyone? Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly is coming to the national capital today. He will attend an event of DDCA. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present in this event. In fact, today the statue of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley is to be unveiled at Kotla ground. Sourav will also be involved in this program.
BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar yesterday. After exiting the Raj Bhavan, Sourav Ganguly did not answer any questions from journalists, calling his meeting a 'courtesy call'. However, Governor Dhankar said that he had talks with Sourav Ganguly on a number of issues.
