As you know, the month of Sawan is considered to be a very special and holy month for Hinduism. People worship Lord Shiva is this holy month.  But at the same time, you should also know what you shouldn't accept during Swan. Eating these things can make angry to God.

Since food is an important place in living, there are a lot of things to say about it.

Green leafy vegetables are forbidden during this period, it is said that green leafy vegetables increase the vata in the body and hence should be avoided.

On the other hand, if scientific reasons are observed, the month of Sawan is rainy and leafy vegetables contain insects, so people should avoid consuming them.

Scriptures gave the importance of trees, know which zodiac should worship which tree!

There are religious beliefs behind this, which say that brinjal is considered to be a faux subzi and hence it is forbidden to eat during the month of Sawan.

It is said that the same made from onion and milk is used in kadhi, so it should not be eaten.

Meat is forbidden in this month. Also avoid the consumption of garlic, onion.
