What not to do in sawan-

It is said that touching shiv linga angers Mother Parvati so women should not touch Shivlinga. Yes, but you can worship Shivlinga if you want.

– It is said that women should not leave their hair open as it brings negative energy to the house. It is also written in the Scriptures that mother Sita's mother had asked her to always tie her hair during the marriage. Tied children also bind relationships.

They say that Lord Shiva should not apply turmeric. In addition, shiva god should offer bhang, dhatura, belpatra, white flowers, honey, fruits, etc. in the puja.

– It is said not to forget to consume alcohol, meat, and fish, tamasik food in the month of Sawan. Also, ginger, radish, brinjal, garlic, curry, sugarcane juice, pepper, and onion should not be consumed at this time.

- Women should not worship Shivlinga during menstruation in the month of Sawan and fasting people should not wear black clothes.
