State Bank of India (SBI), the leading state-owned bank of India, has shared 10 ATM mantras with its customers on Twitter to prevent debit card fraud. SBI has been giving tips to its customers for safe banking from time to time. To avoid fraud in debit cards, SBI advises its customers to conduct transactions with complete confidentiality. SBI requested its customers that if there is an unauthorized transaction with them, then the customer should inform the bank immediately. Apart from SBI, other banks in India also give similar advice to their customers.

How can secure banking from ATM

1. Change your PIN at regular intervals.
2. Cover ATM / POS keypad while entering the PIN.
3. Make your pin more strong. Avoid writing PIN on your ATM card or anywhere else.
4. Use birthday and anniversary dates as pins.
5. Make sure to register/update your mobile number in your account to receive SMS about the debit card and other transactions from your account.
6. Do not share your OTP, debit card PIN/details with anyone.
7. Avoid answering any such call, SMS in which your ATM PIN is asked.
8. Once more than one person is not allowed inside the ATM, you should take special care of it.
9. The person standing behind you can see your PIN, so avoid it.
10. Yono Cash can be used to withdraw money from ATM. With this, you can avoid withdrawing money through the debit card.
