The country's largest bank, The State Bank of India, has said that the bank's online services are set to remain suspended between May 21 and 23. Meanwhile, the bank will update its server to make it easier for its account holders to do bank related work. SBI has notified crores of its customers across the country on Thursday. In the notification, the Bank has said that digital banking services will be affected. At the same time, customers have been asked to do all necessary work before or after so that they do not face any problem later.

Service to be suspended from May 21 to May 23: Where it is learnt that SBI tweeted from it's official Twitter account. The bank has said that "maintenance work of 02.40 AM to 06.10 AM is going to be carried out from 10:45 PM on May 21 to 1:15 pm on May 22 and 02.40 AM to 06.10 AM on May 23, 2021 to provide unhindered banking experience to customers and improve services. Meanwhile, customers will not be able to use INB/YONO/YONO Lite/UPI services."

Transactions required UPI to be disposed of by Friday: The bank is also said to have said that customers will not be able to make UPI transactions between maintenance work. In this case, if you want to make any necessary transactions, do it by Friday evening. Failure to do so may lead to difficulties. Earlier, SBI had announced through Twitter that the last date for KYC updates for its 44 crore customers will be extended till May 31. Customers no longer need to come to the bank to KYC. Customers can also KYC the account through post or E-MAIL.

SBI is the largest bank in the country: SBI is the largest bank in terms of network. State Bank has over 22,000 branches and more than 57,889 ATMs across the country. As on December 31, 2020, SBI had 8.5 crore internet banking and 1.9 crore mobile banking subscribers. the number of UPI users is more than 13.5 crore. At present, there are 3.5 crore consumers on YONO.
