The bank has named such savings account as 'SBI Insta Saving Bank Account'. SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar has said about this, "All such features are present in SBI Insta Saving Bank Account, which our potential customers can use for convenient and paperless banking without visiting the bank branch. In the current circumstances of Covid-19, such products will prove beneficial for those who want to open an account without going to a bank branch.

Know the step-by-step process of opening SBI Insta Saving Bank Account

1. For this, you have to first download the YONO app of SBI.
2. After this, you will get the option of 'New to SBI'.
3. On clicking on it, you will see two options - Digital Saving Account and Insta Saving Account
4. Now you click 'Apply Now'.
5. Now you have to check the declaration and next.
6. Now you will have the option to enter the mobile number.
7. After this OTP will come on your phone.
8. After entering OTP, you have to proceed with the process.
9. Here it is important to remember that to open SBI Insta Saving Bank Account, you will need PAN card and Aadhaar card.
