Chennai: State Bank of India announced the new change in the domain name of their official website. The announcement was given on Monday that the domain name of the SBI will be bank.sbi.

The general manager of Mumbai-based SBI MK Rekhi said, "The SBI group has several businesses. For those wanting to do banking or want to know about the bank, it is easier to type out bank.sbi." 

SBI Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya stated, "SBI being the largest bank has always been the pioneer in adapting new technology. SBI has always believed in providing high-tech yet secure internet experience to its customers. Bank's own gTLD is another step in this direction."
