The Supreme court today has ordered for floor test in the state assembly to Bhartiya Janata Party who was all ready to form the next government in Goa. The floor test will take place on 16 march at 11 am.

The congress party had moved to Apex court and challenged the swearing in ceremony. J.S Khehar, the Chief justice of India which led the bench as per the sources news observed that numbers should determine the single largest party in the state.

The court also told the congress that they should have gone to Goa Governor Mridula Sinha for the matter. She has invited Manohar Parrikar to form a Government.

In Goa, Congress party got 17 seats while BJP got 13 seats and there are total 40 seats on which the elections were done. To make a Government here in the state it is necessary to have 21 seats. The other parties who got left seats as per the sources news supported BJP.
