Jaipur: Schools and colleges can start in Rajasthan after August 15. The Committee of Ministers has prepared a report on the matter. In the first phase, it has been recommended to open schools from 9th to 12th standard. The committee has recommended that classes for young children be started in the second phase. A meeting was also held at the secretariat on Tuesday. During this period, the SOP of opening schools and colleges was brainstormed in detail. CM Gehlot will take a final decision on this.
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra said that the report has been prepared by consensus keeping in view all aspects. More people have agreed to open schools for older children in the first phase. Small children have little agreement on opening schools. He said the SOP of schools playing in other states has also been studied. The committee has discussed all aspects including the recommendations of the ICMR and the status of corona in other states.
Education Ministers Govind Dotasra, Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Dr. Subha Garg were present at the meeting led by Health Minister Raghu Sharma. Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria made his suggestions over the phone. There was also a brainstorming session on the opening of colleges and universities. In fact, the final year exams are currently underway. The online admission process is also underway. A guideline for opening of colleges and universities will be issued by the Department of Home Affairs soon. Now the CM's decision is awaited.
