New Delhi: With the decline in coronavirus cases in India, schools and colleges in several states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, are starting from Tuesday, February 01. Children will be able to come for offline classes after a long time. Schools across the country were closed since March amid a surge in corona cases. While schools in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan are starting from today, February 01, Delhi, UP are yet to approve the opening of schools. In the states where schools are being opened, there will be classes following the corona guidelines. Students will be able to attend classes only with the written approval of their parents.

Madhya Pradesh:- 
In Madhya Pradesh, schools have been reopened for offline classes with 50 per cent capacity from Tuesday, February 01. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given the green signal for the reopening of schools after consulting medical experts.

Maharashtra:-
Schools and colleges in Maharashtra's Pune district have reopened from February 01. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar announced this on Saturday. In other parts of the state, schools for students from pre-primary to class 12 have opened last week.

Haryana:- 
Schools in Haryana have reopened for classes 10, 11 and 12 from February 01. Education Minister Kanwar Pal announced this on January 25. Earlier, the education minister said, "As the corona cases have declined, we may consider reopening of schools."

Rajasthan:-
In Rajasthan, schools have reopened for students of classes 10-12 from February 01. For classes 6 to 9, schools will reopen from February 10, the government has announced in its new corona guidelines on Friday.

Telangana:-
All government and private schools and colleges in Telangana are resumptions of offline classes from February 01. The government had earlier directed all educational institutions to remain closed till January 30.

Tamil Nadu:-
From February 1, the Tamil Nadu government has resumed offline classes for schools, colleges and universities for classes 1-12. Meanwhile, playschools, LKG and UKG classes will remain closed.

Nagpur:-
The Nagpur administration on Monday approved offline classes with corona rules to colleges from February 1, for students of classes 1 to 12. Offline classes in schools and colleges will start in rural as well as Nagpur Municipal Corporation limits.
