The central government had ordered all the states to open school-colleges from October 15 with the guidelines of Unlock 5.0. All of you will be aware of this, but the right to implement this order was given to the states. After getting orders, many states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, etc. have prepared to open schools as per their SOP. Schools are still closed in some states.

According to the information received, there has been news about the permission to reopen schools in Punjab for classes from ninth to twelfth for three hours a day. Apart from this, the Maharashtra government has said that 'the conditions are not so suitable that a decision can be taken to open a school-college'. Apart from this, the Delhi government has decided to keep all schools closed till 31 October due to Corona. Simultaneously, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh have also decided to keep the schools closed until the conditions are favorable to open schools.

Now in addition to all these, talk of West Bengal Government, it has said that no decision will be taken on the opening school in the state before November 14. Talking about the government's guideline, the government has said in its guideline, 'School- colleges should prioritize and promote online or distance learning. If schools are to be opened then all corona- related protocols of the Union Ministry of Health should be followed. If a student wants to do an online class, the school gives permission.
