New York: The increase in fatal cases of young children worldwide every day may be linked to the climate pattern of the oceans. According to a study, if a warning of a change in this pattern is given at the beginning, then people can be prepared to avoid this epidemic. The study, published in the journal Nature Communication, states that diarrhea is the second largest factor in the deaths of children younger than 5 years in low and middle age countries. About 72% of children die before the age of 2 in these countries.

El Niño affects the world: According to information, researchers at Columbia University have reported that 'El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is a coupled oceanic atmosphere system that extends into the equatorial Pacific Ocean. He stated that ENSO spreads in a 3 to 7-year cycle between El Niño (warm ocean temperatures) and La Niña (cold sea temperatures) and affects local weather patterns around the world, including temperature and rainfall.

30% increased diarrhea cases: While analyzing the relationship between diarrhea cases and ENSO in children under 5 years of age in Botswana, scientists found that La Nina rainy season cold temperatures is associated with strong rains and floods. His assessment showed that the situation in La Nina fell behind by 4 to 7 months, due to which the incidence of diarrhea in the early rains between December and February has increased by about 30%.
