British scientists have issued warnings that there are signs of a change in the highly contagious and more deadly form of Covid-19, which appeared in southern England last year. Between the tests, a change in the form of the virus found in the Cantt area of England has been detected and has been named 'E484K'. Earlier, changes in Covid-19 variants were also detected in South Africa and Brazil.

According to the information found, this change in the form of the virus can penetrate the immune system and existing vaccines may be less effective in protecting against it. Research at Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Diseases (CITIID), University of Cambridge, has not yet been reviewed by analysts. Researchers have done this research in coordination with the National Institute for Health Research.

Researcher Ravi Gupta, a leading researcher at CITIID said, "The most worrying is about the virus E484, which has been found in few people till now. In our research, there have been indications that the vaccine will be less effective in this form.” He said that this pattern of the virus is also changing, which is a matter of concern. He said, "We need to prepare according to the next generation vaccine given the new form of the virus. We need to accelerate vaccine production to prevent infection. ''

Dr Dummy Collier, the chief supervisor of the research, said, "Our data suggest that protective antibodies were not found in people older than 80 three weeks after the first dose of the vaccine. But the reassuring thing is that after taking two doses, immunity has been prepared to combat the virus."
