Scientists have made muscular tissue of spinal cord made of silk. These tissues have been constructed to check whether 'artificial silk proteins' may be suitable for the formation of heart tissue.

Ischemic diseases- cardiac infarction causes permanent loss of heart muscle cells. Because of this, the efficiency of the heart decreases, which has an effect on the heart's work.

According to researchers from the University of Friedrich Alexander of Irlanden-Nurnberg (FAU) in Germany, silk synthetic can be effective in making heart tissue. Fibonin does protein for the functioning of silk and mechanical stability.

The publication of research has been done in the Advanced Fictional Materials. The team of researchers has examined the suitability of silk protein EADF 4 produced in the laboratory for the production of heart tissues.
