The makers of the much-awaited movie 'The Kashmir Files' are seeing a big surprise amid the screening of the Exodus drama held in New Delhi recently. Appreciating movie producer Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's vision to create this story (which needed to be told) highlighting the plight of Kashmiri Pandits, the packed cinema hall has also gone with applause for this cinematic masterpiece. The screening has also echoed the same sentiments of the entire audience, who have not been able to stop praising the ideas shown by the lead actors and the performance of the magnificent narrative.

Late last year, Vivek and his wife-actress Pallavi Joshi have visited the USA with a month-long schedule for the special screening of their much-awaited movie 'The Kashmir Files' in various cities. One of the most important, relevant and unreported stories of Indian history, Vivek's next 'The Kashmir Files' has also been invited by several prestigious institutions and organisations in the USA. The critically acclaimed movie producer, 'The Kashmir Files' along with Pallavi Joshi, is excited about the humble and heartfelt response it is getting amid movie screenings.

Vivek led by his wife Pallavi Joshi and the team, after being in danger of fatwa, has done extensive research in the last three years and have also carried out this work. His team studied each story and finally set out to make a feature movie. Vivek, despite the challenge of coronavirus, relied on his mission, completed the research and wrote a fascinating story and screenplay, which has been converted into an Epic movie on the screen in 2 hours, 50 minutes without any song.

Living up to its title, 'The Kashmir Files' is a true story, made on video interviews of the first-generation victims of the Kashmir genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit community. It is a heart-rending statement of pain, suffering, struggle and trauma of Kashmiri Pandits and the eye-opening facts about democracy, religion, politics and humanity are being questioned.

Written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, this exodus drama stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi and Chinmay Mandlekar in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, 'The Kashmir Files' written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri is slated to hit the theatres on March 11, 2022.
