S.D. Burman is the name of the world of music whose songs bring a different comfort. We can hear S. D. Burman's songs anytime it gives a soothing effect to the mind. Very few people know that S.D. Burman's full name was Sachindev Burman, and he was born on October 1, 1906, in the royal family of Tripura. Now S.D. Burman is not among us but his song is among all of us who remind us of him. It is called S.D. Burman was very close to music since childhood, so he also studied classical music from his father.

Apart from his father, he had also learnt music from Bhishmadev Chattopadhyay and Ustad Badal Khan. Early in his career, he also worked in radio folk concerts. S.D. Burman was a musician who never confined himself to any style of music. When he wrote a song, there was some kind of magic in his songse. SD Burman was called by different names by music lovers from different states.

He is said to be "Sachin Karta" for Kolkata and "Burman Da" for Mumbai. Similarly, radio listeners from Bangladesh and West Bengal have "Shochin Deb Bormon". In 1930, SD Burman established his music school in Kolkata under the name "Sur Mandir". Today, S.D. Burman is not in this world but people listen to his songs in his memories.
