Seat sharing became a headache for NDA from Bihar to Maharashtra

New Delhi: BJP is busy preparing to go to the Lok Sabha elections by giving the slogan of 'This time, cross 400'. Old allies like Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) in UP, Janata Dal United (JDU) in Bihar are returning to the NDA, while parties like Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Biju Janata Dal (BJD) are also returning to the alliance. Remaining on the verge of. To reach the target of 400 seats, BJP is expanding its and its alliance's clan from state to state.

Seats are less, partners are more and because of this seat distribution has become a headache for NDA from Bihar to Maharashtra. In UP, the largest state in terms of Lok Sabha seats, Jayant Choudhary's party RLD, Omprakash Rajbhar's SubhaSP, Sanjay Nishad's Nishad Party, Anupriya Patel's Apna Dal Sonelal are in alliance with the BJP. In UP, which has 80 seats, BJP adjusted its four allies on 6 seats. The party wants to implement a similar formula in other states also, but the problem is that the circumstances of every state are different and due to this, states like Bihar and Maharashtra are also getting into trouble.

What was the formula in the meeting between Shah-Chandrababu Naidu?: Reports say that there are 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar and six parties including BJP are included in NDA. The BJP in the NDA includes Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPR), Pashupati Paras-led Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLD), Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Nitish. Kumar led JDU is included. Now the problem is that in the 2019 elections only JDU and LJP were with BJP. Now the problem is that LJP got divided into two parties and both the parties are in NDA, parties of Upendra Kushwaha and Manjhi have also joined NDA.

Both Pashupati and Chirag are demanding 6-6 seats on the uncle-nephew formula of 2019. While Pashupati is not ready to leave Hajipur seat, Chirag also wants to contest his mother Reena Paswan from this seat. Upendra Kushwaha's party is also busy staking claim for Karakat and Sitamarhi seats, while Manjhi's party wants Gaya seat for itself. JDU had won all these three seats in the 2019 elections. How to prepare JDU to give up holding seats?

What is the ruckus in Maharashtra?: Reports say that there is an alliance of Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) along with BJP in Maharashtra. Shinde is demanding 23 seats for his party on the basis of 2019 formula, while Ajit is also busy staking claim on 10 seats. Amit Shah had recently held a meeting with Chief Minister Shinde and Ajit Pawar as well as Maharashtra BJP leaders, after which the formula came out that BJP can get 32 seats, Shinde's party 10 and Ajit Pawar's party can get three seats. . Shinde and Ajit Pawar's party leaders can also contest on the remaining three seats.

Now the problem is that in the last elections, 18 Shiv Sena candidates were elected as MPs. Out of which 13 MPs joined Shinde. 5 MPs remained with Uddhav Thackeray's party. Now the problem is that if Shinde is given only 10 seats, then what will happen to the other three sitting MPs? Same problem is with Ajit also. NCP fears that if he agrees to less seats then the leaders accompanying him may go to Sharad Pawar's side. On the contrary, BJP feels that both the parties have not come with full strength. In such a situation, they should be adjusted from 15 to 18 seats, the number of seats which Shiv Sena had won last time.

How will seats be distributed from Andhra to Odisha?: Amidst the discussion of alliance between BJP and TDP in Andhra Pradesh, the seat sharing formula has also come to the fore. There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state and TDP has already given three seats to Pawan Kalyan's Janasena. Chandrababu Naidu has offered BJP five seats. TDP itself is preparing to contest elections on the remaining 17 seats. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this yet.

On the other hand, BJP wants to contest more Lok Sabha seats in Odisha. BJP is claiming 14 seats but the problem here is that BJD had won 12 seats in the 2019 elections. Will BJD be ready to give up its 5 seats to BJP and accept the role of younger brother in the state where it has been in power for 24 years?
