The results of the survey conducted between 1 August and 7 August in Delhi say that most people developed antibodies of the corona. A total of 15 thousand samples were taken in the survey conducted within all 11 districts. Herd immunity is not seen in the people. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain is also saying that herd immunity is far away. Even if herd immunity develops, one cannot breathe a sigh of relief.
In the second serosurvey, antibodies have been found in 7% of the population as compared to the first. This time, half of the 15 thousand people who were sampled were between 18 and 49 years of age. Apart from this, 25% of the sample people aged 5 to 17 years and the remaining 25% of the sample were more than 50 years of age. According to the CERO survey, out of Delhi's two crore population, more than 58 lakh people have been infected with corona and recover.
Apart from this, the risk of these people getting corona infected again is very less. The Health Minister is showing good signs of getting antibodies in 23.1% in the first survey and 29.1% in the second. He also told that those who have had corona, there is very little chance of them getting the infection again.
