Suraj alias Anas Rashid is the popular tele actor who was seen in Star Plus' tele show 'Diya aur Baati Hum' is getting married to Hina Iqbal on 10th September. His haldi ritual was held on Friday.

This is an Arranged Marriage of Anas and Hina. Hina is 24 years old and she is 14 years younger than Anas. Anas is now 38 years old. The two had engaged in this year in April. Hina also left the job of Immigration Sector to marry Anas.

Anas began his tv career with Star Plus's show titled Kahiin To Hoga as Kartik Ahluwalia. Then, he featured in Aise Karo Naa Vidaa. The actor also received appreciation for performing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in the historical drama Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. He will also be seen in a cameo role in Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji. The wife of Anas, Heena Iqbal is an HR professional from Chandigarh. On marrying Heena, Anas said, "I asked Heena if she knew my age. She said I know my age, I am ready to get married to you. I am 24. She asked me if I was ready to marry her? Heena said the age gap does not matter to her. Her sister told me that I look 26."

Anas told the media a few days ago - we have 14 years of difference. We are now knowing each other.
